AI is no longer just a trend reserved for Silicon Valley engineers. It has quietly become a competitive edge for professionals across every industry. The truth is, you don’t need to build neural networks from scratch to unlock its value. What matters is how you use it to think smarter, act faster, and stay ahead.
That’s the main point we want to make: AI is not about replacing you — it’s about equipping you. Those who learn to collaborate with it now will not only secure their place in tomorrow’s market, they’ll lead it.
This is why we launched the Learner Spotlight: to showcase real professionals applying AI in practical, career-defining ways.

Meet Filip Nestorov, Solution Field Application Engineer at Arrow Electronics.
Why did you decide to start learning AI now?
Filip:
“I am driven in life by the moto KAIZEN – Continuous Improvement. I see a huge potential within AI where I can improve myself in every field. In that way I would be able to stay competitive on the market and deploy the new skills to the organizations where I work.”
What’s the most useful way you’ve already applied AI?
Filip:
“Recently I got a promotion at work. Now I would be in charge for the Medical Market Segment in Central Europe. I will be in charge of the engineering strategy and execution. I used the AI to create 3 years plan – short term, mid-term, long term goals and action plan month by month for a hybrid position combining Technology, Strategy and Marketing in the Medical Devices Electronics Segment. I gave pretty clear, correct and detailed prompt to Chat GPT5, Gemini and Copilot and did many iterations using the combined output answers and I got really great goals and plan that I am following right now. I am pretty sure it will help my company. Instead of doing lots of research, I did invest time in the prompt/iterations afterwards and the AI made the rest. Of course I checked the output for sanity and hallucination before presenting the plan to the management.”
What’s something you’d love to do with AI in the future?
Filip:
“To create automatic tool/script/model for my stock investments. In that way I can maximize my portfolio performance.”
What do you think most people get wrong about AI?
Filip:
“1. They are not aware of AI.
2. If they are aware, they are not using it properly. They use it like a Google.
3. They are afraid that AI will replace the humans.
AI will only augment humans and make them better. Of course if the AI is used properly and not misused for illegal and not ethical purposes.”
How would you describe your AI@Work experience so far in one short sentence?
Filip:
“World Class Product – Made in Macedonia, by Macedonians, with LOVE and PASSION.”
Any fun or unexpected moments with AI?
Filip:
“It is electronics stuff. The AI was hallucinating. Generating an image of a MOSFET with only 2 pins and trying to convince me it was right – actually it has 3.”
Filip’s story proves that AI belongs in the hands of professionals, not just developers. With the right mindset — continuous improvement, clear goals, and ethical use — it becomes a multiplier of human potential.
