When AI first became a topic of discussion, how did you feel about it?
“When people first started talking about AI, I was curious and wanted to learn more. I didn’t feel afraid, but I did think it was just another tech trend that would fade away. As I started seeing how it’s applied in different fields, I was amazed by how useful it can be. Over time, I realized that AI truly has enormous potential and influence on the future.”
Today, AI is everywhere. How do you think it will affect the lives and careers of your generation?
“AI will help us become more creative and efficient. It will create new professions and ways of working that didn’t exist before, so our generation will have more opportunities than ever. But I also think it will have both good and bad sides — it will make communication and work easier, yet might reduce the number of traditional jobs. That’s why it’s important for us to learn how to use it wisely.”
Many people fear that AI will replace jobs. Looking at your own profession, what do you think will change the fastest in the next two years?
“In my field — security — I believe AI will mostly transform the way data and threats are monitored and analyzed. Systems powered by AI will be able to detect risks, cyberattacks, and suspicious activities much faster. This will make our work more efficient but will also require new knowledge to manage and control those technologies.
Personally, I believe AI will open new jobs, even though it might reduce traditional ones. New roles will appear — those that require creativity, analysis, and technological skills. AI can help us work smarter, but humans will still be essential for decision-making, empathy, and innovation.”
How do you think AI will impact the chances for young people to get their first job or start a career?
“AI will bring both challenges and new opportunities. Some jobs will disappear, but others will emerge — especially in tech and creative industries. If young people learn how to use AI tools, it will be much easier for them to find a job and grow professionally.”
Do you think your generation has a competitive advantage in that sense?
“Yes, I believe our generation has an advantage because we grew up using digital tools and the internet. It helps us learn faster, adapt quicker, and be more productive in a world that changes constantly.”
How did you first hear about AI at Work, and what made you want to join?
“I discovered AI at Work through social media. I really liked the concept — it promotes youth development and personal growth. I joined because I wanted to gain new experiences and skills that would prepare me for the future.”
What has surprised you the most since becoming part of AI at Work?
“Definitely the quality of the mentors. There are experts from all over the world, including professionals from Google, Meta, and Catalyx. Even though the sessions are online, we get to ask questions, and the mentors respond with real attention and professionalism. This approach made me feel truly inspired and helped me learn from the best.”
If you had to describe in one sentence why it’s worth being part of AI at Work, what would you say?
“It’s worth being part of AI at Work because you learn directly from world-class mentors from Google, Meta, and beyond — and you feel like part of a global community that genuinely invests in your growth.”
A quote that represents you:
“I don’t strive for certainty — I strive for meaning, built step by step.”
🚀 Final Thoughts
Sara represents a new wave of students who see AI not as a threat but as a tool for empowerment — a bridge between learning and the future of work. Her story is a reminder that being AI-native is not about coding or engineering, but about curiosity, adaptability, and the drive to stay ahead.
